[국제] 국제계리사회(IAA) AI TF 참여 회원 모집(~1/19)

IAA(국제계리사회)에서 아래와 같이 AI TF에 참여할 회원을 모집하오니, 관심이 있으신 회원께서는 1월 19(금)까지 관련 서류를 제출해 주시기 바랍니다.


■ TF명 : AI(Artificial Intelligence) TF

■ 활동내용 : 아래 워크스트림 참고 

■ 제출기한 : 1월 19일(금)

■ 결과발표 : 1월 말

■ 제출서류 : 이름, 이메일, 희망하는 작업세션, 이력서(영문, 별도 양식 없음)

** 워크스트림

  a) Professionalism and Ethics (led by Peter Withey)

Guidelines and principles for actuaries to navigate ethical considerations:

• Transparency
• Fairness
• Accountability
• Privacy preservation
• Biases in AI algorithms 

Review and update codes of conduct and CPD requirements.

Encourage ongoing professional development focused on AI.


  b) Education (led by Henning Wergen)

Enhanced curricula to include foundational AI concepts, data analytics, and relevant tools.

Training programs to upskill actuaries:

• Practical implementation

• Ethical considerations

• Handling of public-private data

Incorporate AI-driven practices into actuarial education, to drive efficiency and enhance productivity.

Develop training modules on automated tools and workflows to streamline actuarial processes, improve accuracy, and save time.


  c) Changing role of Actuaries (led by Steven Claxton)

Basic definitions of AI and impact on actuaries.  Identify areas where AI can augment actuarial work:

• Data preprocessing

• Model calibration

• Predictive analytics

Develop training programs working collaboratively with data scientists.

Integration of AI tools into actuarial practice.

Encourage development of actuarial expertise where human judgment remains critical:

• Interpreting and validating AI outputs

• Identifying limitations

• Assessing model risks.


  d) Governance (led by Bogdan Tautan)

Monitor and evaluate governance frameworks, policies, and regulations - identify gaps and areas where actuarial expertise can contribute.

Participate in policy discussions, consultations, and industry forums - emphasise the actuarial perspective, advocating for fair and transparent AI practices.

Engage with regulators, standard-setting bodies, and policymakers - contribute actuarial insights to the development of AI governance frameworks.


  e) Innovation (led by TBC)

Cultivate a growth mindset among actuaries - continuous learning.

Encourage innovation, courage, and imagination - challenge conventions, take calculated risks, and think creatively.

Promote diverse mindsets and perspectives - foster an inclusive culture that welcomes and values different viewpoints.

Create environment that supports collaboration, creativity, and innovation - enable actuaries to address complex challenges and meet the evolving needs of society.
