Position Title: Actuarial Consultant, Valuation
Division: Life & Health
Position Objective:
To provide a range of actuarial services and analysis of life insurance data, focusing on valuation of business written. This position will work closely with Senior Actuarial Consultant, Valuation.

Position reports to: Head of Actuarial Services

Your Job:
• Prepare and develop further quarterly reporting: VNB Estimation, Source of Earning, etc.;
• Onboarding of new business to the valuation system, including system setup, selection and preparation of appropriate models, assumptions, and portfolio data;
• Validate actuarial models;
• Review and explanation of movements of reserves and P&L items to stakeholders;
• Valuation portfolio data preparation;
• Conduct the analysis on actual vs. expected;
• Develop actuarial model, including assumption table set up, data conversion, model logics development, and impact analysis;
• Perform actuarial modelling and assumption reviews;
• Define requirements for experience analysis and portfolio data;
• Closely cooperating with stakeholders of the valuation process in the finance and business area;
• Identify and address the requirements for the further development of the valuation system;
• Prepare and present on valuation topics

Your Profile:
• 5+ years in the actuarial department at a direct Life company or related institution (essential);
• Experience in valuation and IFRS17 would be an advantage
• Extensive knowledge in insurance market and product lines;
• Knowledge of AXIS or similar actuarial platform is an advantage;
• Proficiency in in SQL, VBA and Python/R;
• Fluent spoken and written in Korean and English (essential)
• Working towards Fellowship of a recognized actuarial body
