New IAA Task Forces
Audience: Presidents, Council Delegates and Correspondents of IAA Full Member Associations Thank you for the responding to our call for volunteers in July/August 2023 to contribute to the work of the three IAA Task Forces mentioned below. We are pleased to announce the selection on members and observers to these Task Forces, as approved by the Executive Committee. 1. Final Reminder to Join the IAA Online Community

One year ago, we launched our new member community tool. To date, over 600 IAA volunteers have joined and are using the system – Thank you! Please note that as of January 1st, this will be the primary IAA communication tool, and our email distribution lists will be discontinued. If you have not yet joined, please do not delay any further. The main IAA community* will feature information of interest for all IAA volunteers. Private groups have established for all other IAA entities (committees, forums, task forces, etc.) to facilitate communication/discussions amongst members, events and resource sharing. We have also established other interest groups for Tier 3 FMAs and actuarial educators. If you have not yet joined, below are the simple instructions to follow:
Please watch this short (1:44 mins) demo to help get you started. After step #3, you will have access to the committee/forum groups in which you are a member or observer. * By default, all IAA volunteers will also be included in our "IAA Community" group where we will post information relevant to everyone.
Finally, in addition to the web-based platform, the online community can also be accessed via a mobile app available on the App Store and Google Store (search for Mobilize Community Management, with the app icon shown below). Enter your email address and click “Send me a magic link” to help you login quickly. You can use both the web or the app interchangeably (and set your notification preferences like any other mobile app).

Final Reminder: whether you are attending in person or virtually, it is important that you register no later than November 5 to ensure that you have access to all the materials and information you need, and that logistics are planned accordingly.
