1. IAA는 전체적인 프레임워크와 관련된 감독 자료의 개정 초안에 관한 공동 협의에 대해 국제 보험 감독자 협회(IAIS)에 답변을 제출했습니다. IAA의 Insurance Regulations Committee를 통해 준비된 IAA의 답변은 2024년 6월 27일 온라인을 통해 제출되었습니다. 이 답변은 IAA 홈페이지 PUBLICATIONS/ PUBLIC STATEMENTS에서 확인하실 수 있습니다. (여기를 클릭해주세요). IAA를 대표하여 이 답변을 준비해주신 Nick Dexter와 IRC에 감사드립니다. 2. 공동 제출 공지 - IAIS Public consultation of Application Paper on how to achieve fair treatment for diverse consumers IAA는 이번 협의에 대한 공식 답변을 제출할 예정입니다. Insurance Regulation Committee (IRC)는 IAA를 대신하여 IAIS에 답변을 작성하는 책임을 맡게 됩니다. 답변은 공동 성명서 작성에 대한 IAA 적법 절차 요구 사항에 따라 준비됩니다. 의견 제출 마감일은 2024년 9월 25일입니다.
IRC의 모든 회원 및 옵저버에게 답변에 대한 의견을 제출해 줄 것을 요청했습니다. 준비 중인 초안과 최종 응답은 IRC와 공유됩니다. 각 협회의 의견이 IRC의 대표를 통해 제공되었는지 확인하세요. 귀하의 협회에 IRC 회원 혹은 옵저버가 없는 경우, 초안 작성 그룹에 옵저버를 지정하여 작성 중인 답변을 검토할 수 있습니다. 협회회에서 옵저버를 지정하려는 경우 늦어도 2024년 7월 25일까지 IAA 사무국의 Amali Seneviratne (Director Technical Activities)에게 연락주시기 바랍니다. 답변은 IRC와 CRTF 외부로 베포되지 않으며, 답변 개발에 영향을 미칠 수 있는 유일한 기회임을 유의하시기 바랍니다. 최종 답변은 IRC 회원의 승인을 받아 2024년 9월 25일 또는 그 이전에 IAIS에 제출될 예정입니다. 제17회 아시아 지역 세미나 – 홍콩 Audience: All

1. The IAA submitted comments to the International Association of Insurance Supervisors (IAIS) on their public consultation on draft revisions to supervisory material related to the Holistic Framework. The IAA response prepared by the IAA’s Insurance Regulations Committee was submitted on 27 June 2024, via the IAIS’s online submission tool. The response is posted on the IAA website under PUBLICATIONS/ PUBLIC STATEMENTS (please click here). Many thanks to Nick Dexter and the Insurance Regulations Committee for preparing this response on behalf of the IAA. 2. Notice of Public Submission - IAIS Public consultation of Application Paper on how to achieve fair treatment for diverse consumers The IAA intends to submit a formal response to this consultation. The Insurance Regulation Committee (IRC) will be responsible for formulating the response to the IAIS on behalf of the IAA. The response will be developed in accordance with the requirements of the IAA Due Process for Making a Public Statements. Comments are invited by 25 September 2024.
All members and observers of the IRC have been requested to provide input to the response. The developing drafts and the final response will be shared with the IRC. Please ensure that your association’s input is provided via your representatives in the IRC. If your association does not have a member or an observer in the IRC, you may nominate an observer to the drafting group to review the developing response. We request you to contact Amali Seneviratne (Director Technical Activities) at the IAA Secretariat as soon as possible, but no later than 25 July 2024 if your association wishes to nominate an observer. Please note that this will be your only opportunity to influence the development of the response, as it will not be circulated outside the IRC and the CRTF. The final response will be submitted to the IAIS on or before 25 September 2024, subject to approval by IRC members. 17th Asian Regional Seminar – Hong Kong Audience: All
“The Future of Actuarial Work” The Advice and Assistance Asia Task Force is pleased to invite you its 17th Regional Seminar under the theme “The Future of Actuarial Work”. The seminar will take place on 22 October 2024 right before the start of the AAC at the Ocean Park Marriott Hotel in Hong Kong. As in previous years we have joined forces with the Actuarial Society of Hong Kong (ASHK) to make this seminar possible and the ASHK proposes the generous offer below to seminar attendees interested to enjoy the Asian Actuarial Conference (AAC).
Special registration for IAA Asia Regional Seminar participants The Actuarial Society of Hong Kong (“ASHK”) will host the Asian Actuarial Conference (“AAC”) following the IAA Asia Regional Seminar. To ensure that overseas participants have the best experience in Hong Kong, ASHK have prepared special registration arrangements for IAA participants.
The theme of the AAC is Exploring the future of insurance and beyond: Innovation, international hubs and Hong Kong. As one of the largest actuarial events in 2024, we gather close to 100 internationally renowned speakers and panellists, attracting more than 700 actuarial professionals and executive leaders from insurance and other industries across Asia.
