제 17차 아시아 TF 지역 세미나 - 홍콩

IAA의 아시아 TF는 10월 22일 홍콩 오션 파크 메리어트 호텔에서 AAC 직전에 제17차 아시아 지역 세미나를 개최했습니다.
이번행사는 홍콩계리사회(ASHK)의 지원을 받아 진행되었으며, 12개국에서 온 33명의 참가자가 참석했습니다. 세미나는 두 세션으로 구성되었으며, 오전 세션에서는 '보험계리 업무의 미래'를 주제로 발표가 이루어졌고, 오후 세션에서는 'AI의 전문적 활용'을 주제로 한 워크숍이 열렸습니다. 이 워크숍에서는 영국계리사회가 공유한 다양한 사례 시나리오를 통해 참가자들 간의 토론과 참여를 촉진했습니다.
이 행사는 IAA 차기 회장, Ms. Bozenna Hinton이 이 지여에서 보험계리사라는 직업을 장려하고 지원하기 위해 진행한 활동 중 하나로, 홍콩계리사회의 임원들과의 회의, 홍콩 중문대학 경영대학 및 홍콩대학교 통계 및 계리학과 교수들과의 회의 등이 포함되었습니다.

Representation at Actuarial Conferences Audience: All
The IAA Officers recently attended several actuarial conferences in the United States, with a primary focus on celebrating significant milestones: the 75th anniversaries of both the Conference of Consulting Actuaries (CCA) and the Society of Actuaries (SOA). These organizations have each contributed over 30 years of dedicated support to the IAA and our global profession. Congratulations to both the CCA and SOA on these remarkable achievements!

Earlier this week, Bozenna and Mathieu also attended the Casualty Actuarial Society’s Annual Conference.
The IAA’s Asia Task Force organized the 17th Asia Regional Seminar on October 22nd at the Ocean Park Marriott Hotel in Hong Kong immediately before the Asian Actuarial Conference.
The event, organized with the support of the Actuarial Society of Hong Kong (ASHK), was attended by 33 participants from 12 countries and was organized in two sessions. The morning session addressed presentations on the topic The Future of Actuarial Work. The afternoon session presented a workshop on the topic of the Professional Use of AI, showcasing a series of case scenarios shared by the Institute and Faculty and Actuaries to encourage discussions and engagement among participants.
This event was part of a series of activities that IAA President-Elect, Ms. Bozenna Hinton, undertook to promote and support the actuarial profession in the region, including: meeting with the senior officers from the Board of the ASHK; meeting with professors from the Chinese University of Hong Kong Business School, and of The University of Hong Kong Department of Statistics and Actuarial Science.
