IAA AI Task Force - Interim Report on 2024 Deliverables

Audience: Council Delegates and Presidents of IAA Member Associations

The IAA AI Task Force (AITF) is pleased to share this interim report highlighting the progress made on its 2024 deliverables. These efforts reflect the activities and timeline set out in Section 4 of the Statement of Intent, and demonstrate the AITF’s commitment to advancing the IAA’s work on artificial intelligence in a thoughtful and impactful manner.

Over the course of 2024, the AITF has made advancements on 20 separate deliverables, the result of dedicated collaboration and expertise across the group. We extend our sincere thanks to Peter Withey, Chair of the AITF (2024), and to all members of the Task Force who made valuable contributions to develop these deliverables.

These draft deliverables are now being shared with Full Member Associations, and internally within the IAA community as an update on the AITF’s progress to date.

Please note the following:

  • The documents shared are currently in draft form and may be adjusted and/or combined with other documents and have not been subject to the formal due process required for them to be considered official publications of the IAA.
  • The interim report and the draft deliverables are intended solely for internal use of the IAA and its member associations and is not for public distribution at this time. These may not be circulated, quoted, or referred to in any public or external forum without prior written consent. The contents in the draft documents do not necessarily represent an official position of the IAA.
  • The drafts will be finalized for approval by the Executive Committee and shared formally with relevant intended audiences when ready.
