It is with profound sadness that we have learned that our colleague Mark Stocker passed away last weekend following a late cancer diagnosis.
Mark served as delegate of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries on the Education and Professionalism Committees, and previously as a Vice-Chair of the Education Committee.
Our hearts go out to his family and friends and we wish them all the best in dealing with this tremendous loss.

New IAA Entities Audience: Correspondents and Council Delegates
3 New Forums Established on 1 January 2021 We are pleased to announce that the three new Forums, i.e., Enterprise and Financial Risk, General Insurance and Pensions and Employee Benefits Forums have now been established under the Advance Committee. The Secretariat invites Full Member Associations to designate members and observers to the Forums.
The Forums will facilitate discussion and knowledge-sharing among Full Member Associations on issues of international relevance for actuaries working in the areas relevant to each Forum.

New Pensions Accounting Committee Established on 1 January 2021
The Pension Accounting Committee (PAC) is established to promote the actuarial viewpoint in the development and application of financial reporting of pension and other employee benefit plans as developed by international accounting standard setters.
The PAC has Urs Barmettler in the role of Chair, and Jason Malone and Andac Yilmaz as Vice-Chairs.
Each IAA FMA has the opportunity to delegate one member to the PAC. If your association has not already delegates a member, please contact the Secretariat at secretariat@actuaries.org with the name and contact details of the member you wish to appoint. The PAC will begin its work early in the first quarter of 2021.
