The Professional Actuary in Times of Uncertainty Operational Risk - COVID-19 – professional impacts
COVID-19 has forced most organizations to operate differently. This has highlighted many operational issues, such as data protection and cyber security.
Remote working is forcing changes in many work practices and the implications of these changes, in both the short and longer terms, may be significant. Impacts on corporate culture, how compliance, risk management, and maintaining ethical behaviour are being brought to forefront with urgency. The challenges and opportunities due to COVID-19 should be addressed appropriately.
This webinar discusses, through the lens of COVID-19, what it means to be a professional actuary facing high levels of uncertainty and impediments to established actuarial practice. The Speaker and panelists will share their views and experience on how the profession can react in these unusual times.
Participants interested to use this opportunity for CPD credits should contact Karla Zúñiga, after the seminar, requesting a participation certificate.
The webinar will be delivered in English language.
