The Institute of Actuaries of Korea is a professional organization of insurance experts that has supported the sound development of the insurance industry and the protection of insurance consumers since 1963, based on the actuarial profession.

Today, the insurance industry is undergoing a period of significant transformation driven by the implementation of IFRS 17 and K-ICS, changes in the financial environment, and ongoing digital transformation. In this context, the expertise and role of actuaries are becoming increasingly important.
